Toronto Pearson Airport Limos runs private airport transfers between West Grey, Ontario and Toronto Pearson International Airport. A chauffeur collects you at your door in Durham, Neustadt, Ayton, Priceville, Elmwood or on a farm road somewhere in between, drives the roughly two-hour route to Pearson, and does the same in reverse when you land. Every trip is booked ahead, quoted before you confirm, and handled by a driver who follows your flight instead of guessing at your arrival.
Anyone who lives in southern Grey County knows this is not a casual drive. Pearson is about 150 to 165 km away by road, the route crosses farmland, small-town speed zones and then one of the busiest highway networks in Canada, and winter can rewrite the plan overnight. This page explains how the service works from West Grey specifically: which communities we collect from, which roads the trip usually takes, how early to leave for a morning flight, what a transfer costs and which extras apply, and what we do when a snow squall rolls in off Lake Huron the day you are meant to fly.

Most West Grey bookings are one of two trips. The first is a departure: the car arrives at your address at a time we work out together from your flight, the bags go in, and the driver heads straight for your terminal at Pearson. The second is a return: you land, we are already tracking the flight, and a private car takes you home along the same highways, whether that is mid-afternoon or well after midnight. Service runs around the clock, so a 5 a.m. pickup outside Ayton is as ordinary a booking as a noon pickup in Durham.
Every transfer is private. You are not sharing the vehicle, there are no detours to collect other passengers, and nobody is working to a shuttle timetable built for the whole county. That matters more on this route than on a short city run. The drive alone takes about two hours, so forty minutes of extra pickups at the front end comes straight out of your airport buffer.
Public transit is a poor fit for the trip. Trip planners show that getting from Durham to Toronto without a car involves transfers and runs past three hours. Driving yourself works, but a week of airport parking, Highway 401 on a Friday afternoon and a two-hour drive home after an overnight flight are costs people tend to underestimate. A pre-booked chauffeur removes the parking bill and the tired drive home.
If you are arriving at Pearson and want the driver to meet you at arrivals, meet-and-greet is available as an add-on. Tell us at booking how you would like to be met, and we will plan the pickup around your terminal and airline.
West Grey is the largest municipality in Grey County by area, and it is spread out. It was formed from the former townships of Bentinck, Glenelg and Normanby, the former village of Neustadt and the former town of Durham, so a pickup might be in a downtown, in a hamlet, or at the end of a concession road. The full list of towns we serve is on our areas we serve page, and here is how West Grey itself breaks down.
Durham is the municipal seat and the largest community, with roughly 2,600 residents. Its centre is the junction of Highway 6 and Grey Road 4. The Saugeen River runs through town and drops over McGowan Falls inside the Durham Conservation Area, which has close to 200 campsites and trails along the riverbank. Downtown has the Durham Art Gallery and a set of murals painted on its buildings. The South Bruce Grey Health Centre hospital is here, the West Grey Police Service is headquartered in town, and Durham Furniture has been building hardwood furniture in the community since 1889.
Durham pickups are the easiest to schedule because Highway 6 runs right through town. The car can be heading toward Guelph within minutes of leaving your door. We collect from homes, businesses, the conservation area campground and anywhere else in town you can name. If you search for a limo in Durham, make sure the booking says Durham, Grey County, since there is also a Durham Region on the other side of the GTA, and we serve both.
Neustadt is a village of a few hundred people with German roots. The name means new town, and local officials describe its craft brewery as the oldest operating one in Ontario. Ayton sits where Grey Road 3 meets Grey Road 9, south of Hanover and southwest of Durham. It is mostly farming country, with an arena, a community hall and Filsingers Organic Foods, which runs about 100 acres of orchards.
Both communities are on the Grey Road 9 side of the municipality. That is useful when the better route to Pearson runs east toward Dundalk and Highway 10 instead of back through Durham, and it is one reason a West Grey fare is quoted from your actual address rather than from a single town centre.
Priceville is east of Durham on Grey Road 4, the old Highway 4 corridor, and is the West Grey community closest to Flesherton and the Highway 10 side of Grey County. Elmwood sits on Grey Road 10. Between them is the Glenelg area, rolling farmland dotted with small lakes, including Townsend Lake and Bells Lake, where cottages, golf properties and rural homes often have addresses that do not behave on a phone map.
If you live on a concession road or a long private lane, send your civic address and a nearby landmark, and mention whether the lane is steep or unplowed. Drivers would rather sort that out the night before than discover it at 4:30 in the morning.
People just outside the municipal line often book through this page too, including travellers from Hanover, Walkerton, Mount Forest, Markdale and Flesherton. Call or email to confirm your address, especially if you are outside Grey County. If you are further north in Owen Sound, our guide to taxi, limo and private car options from Owen Sound to Pearson covers the longer version of this same trip.

Routing sites put the road distance from Durham to Toronto at about 164 km, and Pearson, on the west side of the city, is a little closer than downtown. In practice, expect roughly 150 to 165 km depending on where in West Grey you start, and around two hours when traffic is light. Treat both numbers as planning estimates. The part that varies is the Greater Toronto Area end of the trip, not the farm roads.
Two routes are common. The first runs south on Highway 6 through Mount Forest and Arthur to Guelph, then east on Highway 401 toward Pearson. The second heads east on Grey Road 9 or Grey Road 4 to Highway 10, runs south through Dundalk and Orangeville toward Brampton, and reaches the airport through the 407, 427 or 401 depending on conditions. The Highway 6 route is the usual choice from Durham. The Highway 10 route can win for Neustadt, Ayton and Priceville departures when the 401 through Milton and Mississauga is crawling. Your chauffeur checks live conditions before leaving and picks the road that makes sense that morning.
Highway 407 is an option for the last stretch across the GTA when it saves real time. Its tolls are charged at cost and only if you want them used, so tell us your preference when you book.
Start from the time your airline closes bag drop, not the departure time on your boarding pass, and work backwards. Cut-offs differ by airline and by whether the flight is domestic or international, so check yours. Airlines commonly ask passengers to arrive about two hours ahead for domestic flights and about three for international ones.
Here is how that plays out. Say you fly internationally at 11:00 a.m. and want to be at Pearson by 8:00. Subtract the two-hour drive, then add 45 to 60 minutes of cushion for the GTA, and your pickup in Durham lands between 5:00 and 5:15 a.m. For a domestic flight at 3:00 p.m. with a two-hour arrival target, you want to be at the terminal by 1:00 p.m., which puts the pickup between 10:00 and 10:15 a.m. These are illustrations, not promises. We set the actual time with you once we know your airline, terminal and route.
Coming home, plan for about two hours after you clear customs and collect your bags, plus any stops you have asked for. We watch your flight, so a 40-minute delay does not need a phone call from you. According to our reservation terms, we do not charge waiting time on Pearson pickups when the delay is the flight’s.
Airport transfers are the core of what we do for West Grey, and Pearson is the usual destination. We also run transfers to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Hamilton International and Buffalo Niagara International. If you are weighing Region of Waterloo International Airport, which is closer to Durham than Pearson is, ask us for a quote and compare it against the flights you would actually take. The right airport is the one with the right flight, not just the shortest drive.
West Grey’s economy runs on manufacturing, farms and agri-businesses, and the people who run them travel for trade shows, supplier meetings and head-office visits like anyone else. We offer corporate packages for businesses that book regularly, so you are not requesting a fresh quote for every trip. A chauffeur drive also gives you two hours each way to work, take calls or sleep, which a self-drive does not.
Families flying out of Pearson can book child seats for infants, toddlers and boosters. Tell us the children’s ages and weights at booking so we confirm the right seat for each. For larger groups, such as wedding parties heading to the airport or guests arriving for a ceremony in West Grey or at Blue Mountain, we can match the vehicle to the head count, from SUVs and stretch limousines up to limo vans and coaches.
Not every West Grey trip ends at Pearson. We offer cross-border transfers from the Toronto area to Buffalo airport and US border crossings, and long-distance chauffeur trips across southern Ontario. A longer journey is a good use of a private car when you are carrying luggage, travelling with children or keeping to a tight schedule. Our limo services page lists the full range.
A show at Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Stadium or Budweiser Stage means a two-hour drive each way, which is a long night for whoever is behind the wheel. A chauffeur takes the driving, the parking and the post-show traffic off your plate, and gets you back to Durham, Neustadt or Ayton at the end of the night.
Choose by passengers and luggage first, since the trip is long enough for cramped seating to matter. Our fleet page lists executive sedans, including a Lexus that seats three passengers with two pieces of luggage, along with the Cadillac XTS, Mercedes S550, GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Suburban. The wider fleet includes SUVs, limousines, stretch limousines, Mercedes limo vans, coaches and party buses.
For groups, our reservation terms describe 6-passenger limos and SUVs, 8-passenger and 12-passenger stretch limousines, and limo buses carrying up to 40. In winter, many West Grey travellers choose an SUV for the extra bag space and ground clearance on rural lanes. If you are bringing skis, golf bags, a stroller or a mobility aid, mention it when you book so the vehicle is chosen around the luggage and not squeezed to fit afterwards.
Booking takes a few minutes, and nothing is charged until you have seen the quote and confirmed. Our online reservation form is the quickest route, but phone and email work just as well.
Reservations are handled around the clock, so a late-night flight change is not a problem you have to solve until morning.
West Grey transfers are quoted per trip. Distance from your address, the vehicle, the direction of travel, time of day and any extras all feed into the figure. The base rates on our rates page are published starting points, not West Grey fares, so ask for the West Grey quote before comparing prices. The standard charges that sit on top of a quote are straightforward:
Rates and terms can change, so we confirm everything in writing at booking.
Southern Grey County sits in the path of lake-effect snow squalls off Lake Huron. They can arrive fast, drop visibility to almost nothing and close roads. In recent winters, OPP have shut down stretches of Highway 10 and county roads in Grey and Bruce during squall events, and Environment Canada has issued snow squall warnings for the region with heavy accumulations forecast. A dry morning in Mississauga says nothing about conditions in Priceville.
Build extra time into winter departures, particularly for early flights. We watch road and weather conditions, and the chauffeur can switch between the Highway 6 and Highway 10 routes if one is closed or crawling. If the forecast looks bad, call us early so we can talk through moving the pickup earlier. For a morning international flight in a serious storm, some travellers go down to the GTA the night before and stay near the airport, which takes the road risk out of the equation. Airlines run their own delays and cancellations, so check your flight status on the day as well.

Plan on roughly 150 to 165 km by road, depending on where in West Grey you start, and about two hours in light traffic. Those are estimates. Rush hour in the GTA, construction and winter weather can add a lot, so we plan your pickup time around your flight rather than around the best-case drive.
West Grey transfers are quoted per trip, based on your address, the vehicle and the extras you choose. The quote is confirmed before you commit, and HST and driver gratuity are added to it. Contact us with your pickup address and travel date, and we will send the figure.
We pick up in Durham, Neustadt, Ayton, Priceville, Elmwood and the rural areas of Bentinck, Glenelg and Normanby, as well as neighbouring towns such as Hanover, Walkerton, Mount Forest, Markdale and Flesherton. If your address is on a concession road or outside Grey County, call us to confirm before you book.
Work backwards from your airline’s bag drop cut-off. Airlines commonly ask for about two hours at Pearson for domestic flights and about three for international ones. Add the two-hour drive and a 45 to 60 minute cushion for GTA traffic. For an 11:00 a.m. international flight, that means a pickup in the 5:00 to 5:15 a.m. range.
We track your flight and adjust the pickup time. Under our reservation terms, there is no waiting charge on Pearson pickups when the delay comes from the flight. Waiting time at a home, office or hotel pickup is $10 per 15 minutes after the first 10 minutes.
The driver can change routes between Highway 6 and Highway 10, and we will contact you if conditions force a change to the pickup time. If the forecast is poor, call us the day before and we will work out whether to leave earlier or travel to the GTA ahead of your flight. Cancellation terms are confirmed at booking.
Yes. We run transfers to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Hamilton International and Buffalo Niagara International. Ask about Region of Waterloo International Airport if it suits your flight. Quotes differ by airport, so tell us where you are flying from when you contact us.
Yes. Child seats for infants, toddlers and boosters are available at $10 each. For skis, golf bags, strollers or other large items, tell us at booking so we assign a vehicle with enough room.
